This realm is called Asgard, under the sovereign of these supposed "gods." The borders between the different worlds and times mean next to nothing to them, and they blur them with a careless sort of ease in order to bring us to the city and restore it to health once more.

Why do they bring us here, then? These gods?

Do you see the natives? Their lack of colour, how regardless of how long you spend looking upon them, you cannot recall their face once you look away? Even the light is a bit duller, the darkness a bit darker, and the places less traveled are completely devoid of life and colour altogether.
