The Asgard Event Meme
For fun events you might have missed - or ones that were never in the game at all!

↬ With Asgard hurtling headfirst into war, the gods may not have time for silly events and curses anymore... but the meme comm sure does! Here I've laid out some of the past city-wide curses that we've had and wanted. Post your character with either a blank comment or with a brief setup of your own! It might be handy to put what you're ESPECIALLY interested or uninterested in! 1. Love Me, Love Me Not: Candy hearts have fallen from the sky and blanket the streets in the city! Some are sweet and some are sour, and bear both nice and mean short phrases from "kiss me" and "hold me" to "pinch me" and "hurt me"... and just about everything in between! When your character breaks one of these candy hearts (whether it be from eating one or stepping on it), he or she will feel compelled to do exactly as the candy says to the next person they see! Effects do stack, so try not to break too many at once, and feel free to make up your own. 2. New Year's Bloom: Fields around the city burst to life with thick and thriving flowers. White flowers will grow a vine around the character's wrist. The next Traveler they touch will find the vines reaching for their wrist as well -- the two will be effectively handcuffed together til the end of the day! 3. Sweet Dreams: Your character has become trapped in his or her dreams with another character. The dreamscapes will take the forms of one of your character's memories, but the memories have usually become twisted and dark. It's up to you how much your character can and can't interact with the dream world... or if they even realize it's a dream at all! 4. Safety First: Characters wake up with the feeling that something is not quite right. If they've never had a safety blanket, they do now: in the form of another person in Asgard that they may or may not have even met before. In order to feel safe or even comfortable, your character must have his or her safety blanket in sight at all times! Characters may be each others' safety blankets or not. 5. Somebody's Poisoned the Water Hole: The water supply has been poisoned with whatever magical ingredients that Thiazi's Worst Spy Ever(tm) has been able to grab from the shelves. Symptoms might show up as anything: boils, a fever, angry delirious ranting, your tongue turning purple. Nothing to do but wait it out in misery and hope that someone brings you some chicken soup. 6. On the Fritz: Your characters' powers have either been swapped with someone else's or are simply no longer working correctly! Your Healer may be accidentally making wounds worse... or may now find that they have fire powers instead! 7. Dammit, Loki: All of your characters are forced into ugly Christmas sweaters. It could be winter! It might be summer. Who cares? Probably your character. That's all. 8. Can You Hear Me Now?: The bracelets are busted! Mistexts and garbled communication abound. 9. Look, a Distraction!: There's a giant party! A festival, in honor of somethingorother. Some god or victory or something - apparently it's important enough for there to be a giant feast and a lot of alcohol! 10. And whatever else. Make it up! Use a previous event or a test drive scenario or TFLN it or who even cares, this is a meme, be silly and have fun!
