[ Hearing both the familiar name and that voice, Tess stops. Her head comes up and she finds herself staring straight ahead like a deer caught in headlights at him. Is it the bite of the winter air that skips her heartbeat, or is it him? Shit. Okay. So maybe she isn't as alone as she thought she would be.
