[Once, what seemed like years ago now, Will had told been told something along the lines that his psyche was being abused, that he was letting it be abused. That he was allowing his reality to bend and warp and one day? He'd look up and see a beach totem pole of corpses of his own making. He had kept going though, even when he lost time and couldn't remember the last few waking minutes he'd had.

And yet, for all of that, Will thought his psyche had never been abused harder or more quickly than it was being right now. The skeleton's body was operating on its own, it was even waving at him, and his beautiful dog was all but ready to start digging a hole for

a skull yes that was a skull IT WAS A SKULL AND IT WAS TALKING and this was just not what Will Graham was prepared for.

At all.

No one could have given him the coping tools needed to deal with this, he's pretty sure, even if their intentions were completely pure.
