James Kidd | Assassin's Creed 4 | spoilers in small text, sry 8(

[[ ooc; so big spoiler, james kidd is actually a woman named mary read. she's been dressed up as a boy since childhood and passes as a man amongst a fuck ton of pirates and on board various ships, so there shouldn't be anything apparent making her seem like anything but a young man, however she does still identify as a woman, so pronouns are going to be 'she/her'. but as a heads up, for all intents and purposes, she'd be pretty obviously a dude /o/ ]]

[ this week on Screw You, Kyah! A winter wonderland is not where a pirate belongs, and while she's not exactly freezing with the layers she goes around in, Mary prefers the humid warmth of the West Indies to this mess. It's been a damn long while since she's seen a real, English winter and she hadn't really found she missed it much. Especially not with the little brats chucking snowballs around at passing strangers. ]

Off with ya! [ After taking a few more clumps of snow to the back than she's really willing to tolerate in good humor, Mary's 'I Scare The Piss Out Of Grown Ass Men On Occasion' voice comes out along with a tree branch wafted threateningly - that dropped aside once they scatter. ] Bloody little urchins.

[ Her attention goes back down to the band of silver encircling a wrist, tilting her head curiously. She'd lofted an eyebrow at the maid handing her a sparkly little bracelet in a manner that would have said 'do you expect me to do anything with this aside from running it to the first lout waving a sack of coin at me for it', but that apparently hadn't phased her. Fine enough. Mary's not against taking riches plopped right into her lap. ]

Ain't usually one for pretty baubles. [ Muttered to herself, then she reaches out to bump the back of her hand against whoever's passing by's shoulder, not too shy in trying to get their attention. ] Know where I might find a merchant interested in gems, mate?
