"We both got here at the same time. I just think we were both.. really really lost when it happened. He didn't really have anyone else, and my friends kept leaving.. so we just sort of ended up talking a lot." Jade isn't looking behind her as she walks - instead, she's just working on making sure they have a path through the milling crowd.
She considers something, and then shrugs.
"I don't really know a lot of what happened at home with you guys." Or, well, she did, thanks to the shared nightmares Freya had inflicted on all of them, but- "And none of it is really my business, either, I guess. He's a very important friend of mine here, though, and that's all that matters to me."
