The moment she exits the the main building, she's still trying to clean up the streaks of blood that were clinging to her fingertips. Elena's attempts to put her into her place were cute, but Elena had been outmatched and it was obvious. Her fingers push at the curls at the side of her face, trying to present herself in the best light considering she'd just been thrown around a high school hallway. Once she's outside she takes a deep breath in.

Katherine pushes her way across the crowd of people, trying not to knock into anyone (but not really caring if she does) and tries to get a better vantage point. She grabs the closest passer-byer and looks them dead in the eyes, she makes a direct demand of them, trying to get them to tell her who did this. They laugh at her and try to hand her a soft pretzel.

Eh, it's salty at least. She breaks a piece of it off and tosses the rest to the ground, moving to try and find out whatever she can and hopefully avoid running into anyone she might know.
